Default i want to make a task manager in VB6

i want to make a task manager in VB6 ,how do i go forward and attain my goal .. i am not that much of a pro in VB . Just started to learn it some days ago !! but i know the basic methods !! if some1 can be please a bit narrative then it will be fine

I believe this will be impossible.
Windows has a variety of barriers preventing one process from affecting other processes. A task manager will need to be able to do this.

Perhaps there is a way, using APIs, but I’m skeptical.

you can use the EnumProcess and EnumWindow API to build a basic process viewer. there are plenty of examples in the net.

He’ll be limited to viewing that enumeration, yes?

No, using OpenProcess it will be possible to do any operations with the right permissions. For processes own by the same user, any operation is valid.
