Default how to enable local language entry in a field

What should I do to enter Arabic characters in a text field and save it in the database.

In a data entry screen I have to enter the employee code, employee name, alternate name, salary etc.... The alternate name should be allowed to enter in Arabic and the rest of the fields in english.

You will have to set the language Locale on the client PC temporarily. When the textbox has focus set it and when it loses focus set it back. You may have to have some way of installing the right language pack, unless you can gaurentee that both languages have been installed on the client. The only way to do this is to use the API.
