Default Using Visual Basic behind Excel Control Buttons

Hi,
Can someone please assist me in creating a connection to an SQL Server 2000, with Microsoft Excel control button using VB code.

I have no idea how to establish a connection to a particular server that I need to retrieve data from.

If anyone can assist, that would be great?

Danielle
