Default excel's yield function equivalent in visual basic

Hello All,
I have a problem with Excel Yield function. I want to get the functionality provided by Yield of Excel in Visual Basic but not able to get. There are options like VBA but i do not want to go in the complexities packaged with it.Is there any function which could be written in VB and which can calculate the yield.
It could be a very clumsy function but this is a request if anybody can help.
Thanks
prem.

If you add excel to your VB app as a reference, you will be able to use its functions directly in VB, like a library of functions. (Of course, if you do this, the VB app will require Excel to be present if it is going to run Excel's functions...)

Hello,
Thankyou for your suggestion, but i have tried it before and it seems not working.
The yield is such a function which is not accessible in excel itself in the functions library. But it comes if i use =yield(7 parameters)
It is a worksheet function and i think it is very complicated type of function which do not work properly in excel. That's why i was asking for any other equivalent vb function. If you have any suggestion then please forward me since it is very urgent.
Thanking you once again
prem
