Default column to rows

i konw this topic is quiete repetative but i think my prob is different
i have got a table like this

company id year units_jan units_feb units_mar....units_dec

 abx 1 2000 34 22 2234........77

I want to create a structure like this
Company year month units
 qqq 2000 1 34
           2000 2 22
...........................................


how do i do that??
i have got about a million rows in my table

What is your purpose? What is the end use of the newly-arranged data going to be?
