save and update data problems using flex grid

its wonder for me dat no body answer me abt data grid control problems. well may b no one knows, anyway i have another problem wid flex grid control which is
1. how can i save my data after entering it in the flex grid on specific record in database.
2. after saving if i want to update how can i do dat. plz do tell me
