Default Using a file browse dialog box

Here is the code I used to open a open file dialog box when clicked on browse button.

Can any 1 give me a better idea about this?

Private Sub browse_Click()

  CommonDialog1.ShowOpen
  file_name.Text = CommonDialog1.FileName

End Sub

Hi here, that's the correct way to show the dialog box. However, normally when using the ShowOpen(and not the ShowSave, ShowColor..etc...) you would normally specify a file filter as well before actually displaying the dialog box.
