Default VB6 & VB.net?

Well, i have a simple question here. I been wondering, Is there alot of difference between the programming in VB6 & VB.net? Im getting into game programming, Im currently studying VB6. I just wanted to know if there was a big difference in the programming or not.
If so, is VB.net almost as powerful as C language?

Thanks, Brian

VB.Net, may as well be a new language as far as VB6 is concerned. vb.net is as powerful as C in terms of it's 'object orientation'. It now supports the full OO methodology in the same way that C does.
