Default Editing Bug Base

Hello,

Im running the app right out of the box and when i select an open existing bug to edit, the only thing that is editable is the comments...cant change priority ir status..nothing, doesnt matter who im logged in as...thansk

Does it say what roles you are in??

Yes it lists the role that im currently in. Such as manager or developer

Im sorry it does NOT say the roles. Just lists who im logged in as

But does it say anything else? Does it display the label for the roles?

How did you run the site? Through IIS or from within Visual Web Developer?

And with what role did you log in?

Hmmm, that doesn't look good indeed...

What do you see when you open the Web Site Administration Tool through Visual Web Developer? Do you see the roles?

If not, create the roles listed on page 392, assign your user account to one or more of these roles and try agin. Does that work?
