Hi there,

How is this related to the book ASP.NET 2.0 Instant Results?

You may be better off posting this in one of the database related categories here at http://p2p.wrox.com/

Cheers,

Well I understand your point, but I preferred to publish this here because, "and I forgot to say that", this issue is on a web application, so I see it more connected to the asp rather than the oracle it self.

In other word my question is how to connect my web application with an oracle database that is installed in an UNIX server :)

The specific category you have chosen is for a book called "ASP.NET 2.0 Instant Results" which doesn't deal with Oracle at all. Discussions in this category should be limited to the book.

So, even if you think it's related to ASP / ASP.NET, you're still better off posting this in one of the web or ASP related categories.
