Default Beginning Part Of Online Diary

When the user registers... he is supposed to be redirected to" your personal detail page" which requires only first name and last name.
  Do i have to create that page..? and just add a redirection link from the create user page..?

Hi there,

I am not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the page you are taken to when you login? That is defined in the Login control:

DestinationPageUrl="~/SecureDiary/DiaryMain.aspx"

No need to create this page as it already exists. On what page did you read that it should take you to "your personal detail page"??

yeah i did... but actually i am talking about the page in page 22 of the book. figure 1-14. i dont understand how they connect to that page.

That all takes place in RegisterStart.aspx with the CreateUserWizard that has multiple views, one to register and one to add additional details. Once you're done registering, you are taken to SignOn.aspx because of the FinishDestinationPageUrl setting in RegisterStart.aspx.
