I had string datatype with not Null in a table.
At page level i used to put requiredfield validation for null type string.
But in one edit page i forget to put validation.while editing record It has not given me error as integer or datetime gives for Not null field and acceted blank as data.Now even i edit with any data it is not accepting any data and showing blank field only.I found it is strange.
So How could i do programming for checking not null value for string of edit page.
even i am using below coding it does not give message
if txtbox.text = "" then
lbltxtbox.text = "could not blank"
else
instance.propertyname = txtbox.text
end if

Is this related to the book ASP.NET 2.0 Instant Results? If so, can you specify chapter and / or page number?

If not, I think you're better off posting in a different category here at p2p.wrox.com. If you do, please try to ask a better question and provide more information. It's not really clear to me what you are asking.

BTW: Did you ever resolve the issue with the BugBase menu.
