Master Page error

Hello Imar,

In reference to the projects in the Instant Results book, when attempting to view several of the pages in Design mode I receive the error message 'The Master Page file 'MainMaster.Master cannot be loaded. Correct the problem in code view.' I am using Visual Web developer Express 2008. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Michael,

How are you opening the site / the Master Page? You need to use File | Open Web Site and then open a single application, so files like web.config end up at the root of the site in the Solution Explorer.
