SoftMind, in another thread, asked that the VB version be hosted so that it can be tried while going through the code. Well, first off, the code is not ready for prime-time and that would be my greatest argument against doing such a thing. But as I am paying for web space and I have not run into any major problems I have deployed the site at:

The code is complete through all 12 chapters, which means that if you want to try the Italian localization, go for it. This version is being tested and I would appreciate anyone who uses the site to please tell about the problem (what you did. etc) using the contact form.

The site will be active through the end of July, but might be extended.

Let me reiterate Jim's message about tech support for the VB version:

Wrox customer service/technical support cannot provide support for the VB code. I will be happy to answer any questions through this thread or in the forums at the VB site above.

The download in the above link is only for first 9 chapters. while you have mentioned its ready for 12 chapters.

could you kindly provide us the revised download as show above for working website. Is it also possible to get us the database for sql2000, since many would be using that for the remote hsoting. As you are aware sql2005 is not easily available with many hosting companies.

There are some features of this site that depend on new features in SQL 2005. I think most web hosting companies that offer SQL 2000 are also offering SQL 2005 now. If your company doesn't then you should consider switching. If you compare different companies you need to consider the cost for a reasonable bandwidth, and also for SQL 2005 hosting. Some companies offer a low monthly price, but then they charge a lot extra for SQL, so they're not a good deal in the end.
  Send me a personal email if you want a recommendation on the best companies that offer a lot for a low price (use the Contact Us link at my site: http://www.ericengler.com). I know some good companies in the US, but I don't know anything about companies in India, so maybe I can't help you much. But I know that India has a lot of hosting companies now, so it shouldn't be too hard to find a good one.
  It's also possible to share one database among several different sites, so you might want to go in on a shared service with some friends.

I have tried numerous times to download the VB source from the link above. It keeps failing so is this file hosted anywhere else to download or can someone host it please.

For some reason thats the link that doesnt work for me, it keeps saying file download error when i choose where to get it from and enter the code etc..
