well i'm trying to make the moderator role to work... when the user is moderator it shows the Admin menu, but when clicked it says the users has no rights bla bla...

how do i make this role to get into the default page of the admin panel?

As you don't say what page you're using when you log in as a moderator, it must mean that it's a general error generated by trying to use the Admin folder without permission. In this case you'll want to look at the permissions granted in the web.config file in the admin folder.
