Default AJAX

Hi all I have added the Ajax rating extension to the ShowProducts page and it works fine. So I try to do the same thing for the ShowArticles page. But here I have added the Rating extension and an Updatepanel for the comments.

Here comes the problem:
when I push the rating submit button The comments form validates and there is no input for the comment so nothing happens, and no rating is registered.

But if I remove the validater for the comment form, everything works fine.

So my question is how can I get around this
Use two Updatepanels on one page and two submit buttons, and have the validater for the comment form active ??.

FT - add the following to your submit buttons:

 CausesValidation="false"

in the aspx page. that should sort it out.

you need to create a space between CausesValidation="false"Text="Skráset"

that looks like the issue.

ahh yes, just noticed that you are using <asp:LinkButton, my code was for <asp:Button. however, it shouldn't really make any difference as they both have the CausesValidation event. could be ajax related (postback etc..).

can't think at the moment of what else to look for!!
