Hello krainov,

I have been wanting to develop a photo gallery for my TBH-based website for a while now. Nicely done! :)

I was able to create a login and browse through your photos, but I didn't get any farther than that since your website is in Russian. I was wondering, are your image files stored in a binary field in the database or are they simply uploaded to a directory on the web server? Also, how are the photos added to the gallery? Must they be uploaded one at a time, or do you have an interface to select and upload multiple files at once?

Tammy

Hello Tammy!

The image files stored as files in the predefined dirs: the original size, the optimized size & thumbnail size. The database is free of binaries, it has only the nvarchr fields to store the images locations on the server. One's can add a photo to created album in admin driven categories in 4 steps: 1. Choose Category from the list; 2. Add new photo album; 3. Add a multiple file upload; 4. Describe the images just uploaded. You can upload unlimited files at the moment, the flash-uploader is indicating the totalUpload process and fileUpload process. Also there is a rotate option to control horizonal & vertical position for the photos (usable when uploading directly from camera).
