Default Any resource for web services that follows multi-tier approach?

Hi,

Could anybody has a resource with you on web services (asp.net/C#) which follows multi-tier or atleast that separates business and database logic?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

If this is not the right forum for this post, my apologies!
Thanks!
