Chapter 3 (WebCustom Event)

Hi,
At the end of Chapter 3 it is mentioned to create WebCustom Event class in a new seprate secondary project and and reference the compiled .dll file (named MB.TheBeerHouse.Custom Events.dll) from the main web project.
I don't know if I should create the project inside the existing sulution or open a new sulution?
could anyone help me on this matter and give me more details? (Step by step )
