Default default page takes forever to load

I have a web I designed based on this book. I'm trouble shooting to figure out why my default page is taking so long to load. I have about 117 messages when I use debug to "step into" the start up of my web. One of the messages is about the RSS reader. It states:

Message 133 Validation (ASP.Net): Attribute 'Title' is not a valid attribute of element 'RssReader'.
C:\My Documents\.....\Template.master 217 77 C:\My Documents\.....\

Should I use something other than "Title".??
