Plz help???
I have written an appl. that is my version of 'thePhile'.
All the pages are the same except of course with my own
personalization. I have checked and re-checked the code
several times.

Problem is--my copy of 'thePhile' loads and works in my
browser just fine. But my separate version will not
authenticate a user. I can load new user info with new.aspx,
and I get redirected to default.aspx with the new account info
appearing in the header control. But when I subsequently try
to login this same user, Login.aspx fails and I get a message
that says "login failed for (emailaddress)".

Can anyone suggest what can cause this? Something in SQLserver?
Should I look at a particular method or class in my appl? or is
there something in the way I have set up my directory for the
separate appl?

ANY ideas appreciated.

Check to see if the new user exists.

If you mean check in the datatable, yes it does...or do you mean
to check somewhere/somehow else?
