I just bought a copy of ASP.net website Programming from Amazon.com
I download the code and follow the readme file to step 3

Right-click on the thephileVB folder in Windows Explorer, and select
Properties

The problem I have : the property window won't come up.
I am using window 2000 Professional.

I try this in another machine running Window XP Home edition.
There is no Web Sharing tab in property page.

I am new in web development, please help.

You can't use XP home for ASP.NET with Visual Studio 2003. It doesn't have the IIS web server.

You can use Windows 2000 Pro, but only if you install IIS first. Go to the control panel, Add/Remove programs, and select Windows Components on the left. Then select IIS and check the box to install it.

You also need SQL Server 2000 on your computer.
