Default Using F: drive not C: drive

I don't have a lot of mem on my C: drive. So, I downloaded your files to my F: drive. Would not compile, so moved the .snk files to the c:\wrox, etc. directory. It will now compile. Is this program going to work in runtime? What files could I change to make it work on the F: drive?

Also, received this server error:

Login failed for user 'sa'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

In the past I have used windows authentication. Do I have to manually change the contents of some other config file? (I have already changed all of the db server names in the F:\wrox\ThePHileVB\Config\ folder.)What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mary,

The Database erreor you are getting is because of SQL server authentication mode. I firmly beleive that as of now you are running MSDE in Windows integrated security mode. You need to change it to SQL Server authentication mode using Enterprise manager.

If you do not have enterprise manager on your machine, i have found one possible and immediate solution at the Microsoft Knowledge Base. These articles will give you in-depth information on the various topics such as changing the MSDE authentication mode From Windows integrated to mixed mode at the time of installation and even after the installation. Just browse the two URLs give below.

Hope this will help you
