Default Help with Eric's PhileII

Hello!

I have downloaded the zip file for the PhileII site. Did everything as instructed. DB install went fine. Web root change too. I can see the web site at http://localhost. But when i try to open a solution in VS.NET 2003 it gives me the following: "Visual Studio .NET cannot create or open the application. The likiest problem is that required components are not installed on the local Web Server. Run Visual Studio .NET setup and add the Web Development Component"

Steps taken:
1. Went to Control Panel -> Add Remove.. -> VS.NET Setup -> Server Components -> Web Dev. Comp. are there (Checkbox checked). I tried to uninstall and reinstall them - didnt help.
2. aspnet_regiis /i - didnt help
3. iisreset - didnt help

When i switch my web root back to the wwwroot and open some of my projects everything working fine.

Please help.

Thanks, Andrew.

Did you install the Front Page Server extensions? Under add/remove programs, select windows components on the left. Then select IIS and press Details. If there're already installed try re-installing them.
