Default Requested registry access is not allowed

I am running thePhile code on a hosted web server and I get following error:

[SecurityException: Requested registry access is not allowed.]

I believe englere has given some solutions for this problem previously, but I think I cannot use those solutions because I am running my application on a hosted environment.

So any idea how i can get rid of this problem.

regards

My site is on a hosted environment also, but I changed it to log to a file instead of the EventLog. This is explained in the readme file that comes in the VB.NET code. You don't need to be an expert on VB to understand those comments.

Will your hosting company agree to have you log to the EventLog of their server? I bet they won't (unless you have an expensive hosting plan that basically gives you a virtual server that is not shared).
