Default Ch7 False Value Return on BuildSQLString Function

For those who may miss his post, AlreadyDead has advised that since the tblSales entries are for 1998 and the Creating and Modifying QueryDef exercise in Chapter 7 instructs us to input 2002 dates in the criteria selection form, the MakeQueryDef function will return a value of false. When he/she synchronized the dates, the function worked as expected.

Less frustrating Learning to you!:)

Default

Ooops,
Even though I synchronized the date by querying 01-Nov-98 through 30-Nov-98, both the MakeQueryDef and ChangeQueryDefs continue to return values of false.

Despite the return of false values, however, both queries were created and their designs look exactly like the examples shown on pages 284 and 285. Further, the MakeQueryDef correctly returns Jane's Diner while the ChangeQueryDef returns ll sales.

Does anyone know what might be occurring here?

Thanks.
