Default Simple Question

I am a noob. After getting through CH 3 of the 2002 ed., I realized that although I am understanding everything fairly well, I have not seen anywhere ahead where the books explains how to incorporate using modules/codes etc. within any DB applications. For example, is there somewhere in the book that explains how to call or incorporate a module or code from a query or form?
