Chapter 5 ImageSwitcher has blank screen

The code in the book has Gallery before ImageSwitcher in main.xml.
If you get a blank screen, try switching their order putting Gallery before ImageSwitcher in main.xml. ( like it is in the downloadable code )

Hello,

I just bought Beginning Android Application Development, and I'm trying to create a new AVD dialog. I enter all the correct information like in figure 1-20, but eclipse keeps outputting

[2012-06-05 13:04:42 - SDK Manager] Unable to find a 'userdata.img' file for ABI armeabi to copy into the AVD folder.

Could you please tell me what the problem is. I installed the JDK, Android SDK, and eclipse correctly.
