Default code downloads

First may I congratulate the author and publisher on an excellent textbook. I had hit a brick wall with the Android developer's 101 website and needed a fresh start.

But - (unless I missed something - the Errata section does not refer to this issue) - the naming of the download code examples on the website is different from that in the book, for example, in Chapter 3 the book names UICode.zip, but no download of that name exists, they are instead organised by Chapter under names which are not mentioned in the book.

Is this a versioning problem?
Could it be addressed by updating the "readme" download file?
Also, would a description of how to import these projects be useful to other readers too?

The edition of the book I have (bought from Amazon in Oct 2011) is based on Android 2.3. This didn't bother me at first as my device (HTC Desire HD) is using 2.3.3. However....

When I try to follow the book examples I come across a number of erros, deprecations etc. I have noted the errata and downloaded the latest code but there are errors and warnings in the code that I find (I am an Android/Eclipse noobie afterall, that is why I bought the book!) are show stoppers.

I am a great fan of Wrox books having bought them for other development platforms but this one is causing me headaches. Where is the best site to get answers to these incompatibilities?
