Default Java SE Development Kit and Eclipse IDE for Java EE?

Okay, first question... :-)

IN the book, it says to get the Java SE Development Kit, but then it says to get the Eclipse IDE for Java EE.

Does anyone understand why the SE JDK but the EE Eclipse?

Know what I mean?

I think you download the Java SE Development Kit from Oracle and the Eclipse IDE for Java EE. This is what I have done and it seems to work OK.
