Default I broke it?

Hi All
I got the book on Friday and on Saturday I exported 'Hello World 'to my android device and it worked!
On Sunday nothing works. That is when I try RUN I get a message that says main.out.xml is empty. I had moved to chapter 2, but went back to Ch 1 and then to testrun and I get the same thing.
[2011-11-01 11:52:04 - Actives] Error in an XML file: aborting build.
Since I know nothing about Eclipse, I may have pushed a few buttons to see what they did. I though that I did not change anything.
Also if I double click on the file in bin/res/name.apk, I get a popup for GameSpy which ask if I want to over write the files in its directory. I think the default for .apk needs to be changed, but I not sure what (eclipse?).
Thanks for your help
Cliff

Default More

OK my problem is I know nothing about Eclipse. I was not waiting long enough for the app to come up. I did get the main.out.xml when I first tried it but can not get it now. I guess I should RTFM!
I still need a default for .apk, but I not sure what. Eclipse is not the answer.
Oh yes, I'm using Windows XP.
Thanks
Cliff

If you are new to writing software it's very important to write carefully and check everything, saving every file as you edit it, before you try to run it. Software has to be 100% correct to work; this is an occupation which requires a lot of attention to detail.

I started over, took it more carefully, and it all seems to be working now
