Default Exercises written for 2.3.4 - but SDK?

Page xv at bottom & install on page 13 note examples are written in ver 2.3.
My SDK (Eclipse menu: Window / SDK Manager) offers 2.2, 2.3.3, 3.0
Since ver 2.3 is not there, which to use?
I am asking because I can't get examples to run.

Hi John
Oh, whatever you like, it should work on all. I use 2.3.3.

FIie / import / existig project / nav to book's downloads (unzipped): chapter 1 / HellowWorld

Console gives error: [2012-02-03 21:17:13 - HelloWorld] Unable to resolve target 'android-9'

Does that mean I have to install an additional Android ver from the SDK manager? I now have 2.2 and 4.03

When I look at the available installs in sdk I see API 8 and 10, but no 9.

IS another option to change the minSDK of the project?

Much thanks. Book looks great - just need to figure out how to get started with exercises.
