I have installed iis 5.1 on windows xp professional. But when trying to run first page on IE browser (http://localhost/localstart.asp) getting an error: Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer
Please help.

did you get this sorted? I had exact same problem last weekend on a new PC, and it turned out to be down to McAfee Privacy Service being incompatible with IIS, its a known issue apparently! I had to uninstall MPS (disabling it is not enough), then uninstall and reinstall IIS before it would work.
