VS.NET
Does anyone know how why the Intellisense in visual Studio.NET stops working. For example, Is I type Dim x as String --> "Dim", "as", and "string" should be blue...also the "dot" operators are not working. Not sure if this is what it is called correctly, but when you type something and the .[list-of-options appear] does work.
Any help appreicated.
Thanks...
MGR

Hey,
I've had the intellisense fail on the dot operator. Coloring the keywords isn't an intellisense problem; that would be an editor problem because in the options you can adjust the color as needed.
You can manually invoke intellisense with Ctrl+J. In addition, look in the options, as intellisense is an option. Maybe somehow it got turned off.

Thanks,

Hey,
VS.NET prerequisites disc must be installed first, which has the .NET framework, (I believe DirectX too), so you don't need to prepare for the VS.NET download. It takes a while, but is well worth it.

Tools > Options
Then in the new window:
Text Editor > All Languages > General
Make sure the checkboxes under Statement Completion are checked.
