tcp\ip communication in asp.net 1.1

Hi to all,
I am wrking in asp.net1.1(C#) web application.I have a Reader which is connected through lan ,I have assigned a IP to the reader now i want to communicate with the Reader using TCP\IP,i want to send some command to the reader and also want the acknowledgement which Reader Will send.
