Hello,
I followed the instructions on chapter one and installed IIS 5.1 and MDAC
2.8 and Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 on windows xp pro, tested the
connection and everything seems to be working fine. I have downloaded the
7337.zip file from your web site and unzipped it to C:\BegASPNET and ran
the link http://localhost/BegASPNET/ch01/punctual.aspx on IE 6.0 SP1, it
did not display the time, it just displayed the following:

Welcome
In WebServerLand the time is currently:

I have tried the above link on a windows 2000 computer and it worked fine.
Please let me know what do I need to do to make it run correctly on windows
xp.
