Suggestion to improve this p2p forum.

While this is a great way to discuss out problems/solutions i would like to ask to make a small change in this forum.

Please make sub forums called chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3..... under the book title forum. Or if this seems a too much, another option could be to add threads for each chapter, so that a user does not end of reading thru tons of thread to find out whether his or her problem has been solved alrady.

This would make searching for a existing post very easy and organised.

Presently it is hard to find whether a problem/solution already existes or not.

PS: I actually found all problems solved here but after considerable searching and reading of a lot of threads.

Unfortunately, the forum software we use doesn't allow the sub-forum idea.
The idea of threads is an interesting work around. The difficulty would be that a large number of users don't even post in the right forum, getting them to post in the right thread would seem to be an even more impossible task.

This is a usability problem I want to solve, and I'm open to ideas on it, I'm just not sure that this suggestion would end up helping.

btw.. you should change ur search box to google search targated at this site, your search is crap.

The author on chapter 7 has just finished a long relocation to another continent. He's aware of the messages here, and as soon as he gets a reliable internet connection there, he's going to answer.

As far as google site search vs our search, what's so crappy about ours? Some specifics would help if I wanted to suggest improvements or a change to our developer.
I know we did have a concern about using Google that google might not spider the site often enough for search to be current.
