Everything's going well in this exercise until step 9. It's impossible to set the SkinID for the inserted Label control as it's greyed out! However, if I change to Source view, modify the code, switch back to Design view and examine the Properties, the SkinID is no longer greyed out and set correctly.

Q1 Why should a simple property like this be greyed out?

At the end of the exercise, I ran the site and some debugging was required. I eradicated a couple of typos in the web.sitemap, and set the blue theme for Page 1, but I have an effect in the TreeView control using the Red theme that I can't explain. Page 2 is shown a lighter colour compared to Page 1, whereas in the Blue theme Page 2 in the TreeView is shown the same colour as Page 1.

Q2 Has anyone else seen this?
I can post some code if it would help. Please specify which files.

I have re-run the exercises in Chapter 5 following a re-read. I renamed the website Chapter05A and re-opened the zipped Chapter files (this followed a 2-month break in studies). This time everything happened smoothly. Must have been finger trouble!
