Default FULL of ERRORS

Dear All,

Recently I purchased this book and these are my comments for all of you (of course including the AUTHORS of this book), specially for John Kauffman.

This book contains SO MANY ERRORS!!! With a great difficulty, I managed to follow up to the 2nd chapter and I can't go further. Then I found that the guy called "John Kauffman" is the person who is responsible for all these errors, in chapters 1, 2, 7 & 8. According to the book, this person is a sailor and you can understand what will happen when sailors become authors. I have already paid $30 for this book (with errors) and who's going to refund that amount? Personally I tried hard to find a website of this sailor to thank him for his errors, but unfortunately instead of him, all the others got their own websites. Since this is a public forum, I don't want to use any bad language here. So if it is possible, can anyone give me his email address to pass my real comments to him?

Once again if you are thinking of buying this book, pls. don't. Instead of teaching ASP.NET, this book will make you sick about ASP.NET If anyone can't trust me, pls. go through the comments that others have posted in Amazon. You will also find few comments with 5 stars, that have posted by some crazy guys who haven't even follow this book up to chapter 2.

Thank you for going through my comments.

slme: You can send any error lists and comments directly to me: [email protected]
and I'll see if John has any new comments on them.

And be sure to let us know if it's the C# or VB book.
Sorry to see that you've found more than an acceptable level of errors in this book. If you find any you can't work through, post questions and comments here in the forum. Many of the errors have already been discussed here or posted on the errata page too.
