Default Configuring the file system page 653

Says browse to the Release foldere at C;\BegASPNET\Release
This folder does not exist in the download I did.
My download for C shows only this:
BegASPNET
Resources
Site
Source
Expanding these files does not show a Release anywhere.
Thankds.

Hi there,

Correct; this folder doesn't come with the download. You'll see instructions (in step 3 of the Try it Out on page 640) to create the folder yourself when you use the "copy web site tool".

Hope this helps,

Imar

Thanks for the reply.
Page 356 implies that one should go directly to the
'Configuring the File System' in Chapter 18.
That is how I got there.

The reference was there mainly to point to the section "Understanding Security"; not necessarily to the associated TIO, but I see how it can create confusion.

Anyway, the TIO discusses the Release folder as that's the folder that requires permissions in that exercise. Substitute that folder for the one you need to configure....

Cheers,

Imar
