First of all, Imar: GREAT BOOK. This is by far one of the better development books out of hundreds I have read.

This isn't really a problem about the book, but I figured someone might have the same issue.

I am working on Chapter 11 - the intro to databases. Sometimes if I go to view "genre" table that I created in that lesson, if I go to run it, the Query Browser won't show that there is any data populated in the table. However, lets say I walk away, come back 5 minutes later, try to view the data, it will be available! So the database still has the info, and none of the connection strings changed, etc. Any ideas?

I haven't seen the behavior you're describing myself. What tool are you using? The built-in database tool in Visual Web Developer? Or SQL Server Management Studio? And does pressing Ctrl+R (to refresh the query) bring up the data?
