Default Cant find cookie....

Im on Chapter 6 creating selectable themes from a drop down box. Everything works fine but I wanted to look at the actual cookie created by the c# code. Im using IE 8 Beta on Windows 7 Beta, I looked in Windows>Temporary Internet Files, and can see other cookies in there but not the one created in Chapter 6. I even cleared the folder and ran the aspx page, selected from the drop down box which fires the code to create the cookie, looked again in the Windows>Temporary Internet Files but nothing. I know the cookie is working as when I re-open the aspx page it remembers which theme I last selected, I just cant find it on the hardrive. Any help much apreciated.

Hi there,

You may want to install the "Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar"; it's a handy tool that lets you view cookies, among other things.

Instead of looking under the Windows folder, try searching in your own account's folder under Users.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I went to install the IE developer toolbar and subsequently found out that IE8 already has this so gave it a go. I tried viewing the cookies on my version of the Chapter 6 example, and it brings an error "could not get the cookie information", I then tried it on www.planetwrox.com and again the same error. But if I go to another website that uses cookies, then Im able to view its cookies no problem.

That's strange, and now how it's supposed to be.

Maybe an IE 8 Beta / Windows 7 Beta issue?
