Default reverse-engineering vs 2008

Hi Imar.
I was trying to reverse engineer this web application and noticed vs 2008 doesnt support any uml tools as the case for vs2005. i did use rational rose at university which doesnt support current VS as well (since IBM bought rational). I have been in microsoft forums and could not find clear cut answers apart from endorsement of some of the 3rd part tools which most are no were near rational rose or visio 2007.
I presume u did built this application directly in vs 2008 withiout designing in uml (class diagrams in vs 2008 are very shallow). Can you suggest what i should do to escape designing from scratch with sequence, logical deployment views etc which is absolute time consuming process before VS 2010 is out?
thank you

I am not sure what you're asking.

Why can't you use tools like Rational or Visio that you used before? They can be used to generate clear UML diagrams.

And no, I hardly used UML for this project as it's quite an easy one with simple functionality. I do use it on other projects I do though.
