Default Chapter 7 re hiding root element in TreeView control

I'm finding your book very useful, particularly your handling of CSS and navigation controls. Thanks a million!

One question: On page 244 you mention that you intend to show later how to hide the root element from the navigation controls, so as to "only show the 'first children' of the root node and their children". Where do you address this issue? I can't find it.

Hi there,

You're welcome. Good to hear you like the book so much.

You find the instructions in step 8 of the TIO on page 247: you need to set the ShowStartingNode property of the SiteMapDataSource control to False.

Cheers,

Imar
