Default First Time to Host a website, Need a GUIDE !

First to begin, your book is Just A Fantastic Work, actually I Am Happy to know you Imar, and Hope to meet you InPerson.

Secondly (Concerning My Question ),
It is the first website I make, from your (Wonderful)book, and my First Host !

If I want to host my website by one of the several companies that offer host service, which is the best one to use if;

1- give me any name to a webhost service of CATEGORY (as mentioned in your book; 3 categories exist) --> that requires me to submit the .sql file (generated by the Database Publishing wizard).
2- how much will I wait for the host to create my database ?
3- Concerning uploading my files to the webhost ( I am a beginner dont forget), do I Upload it normally or there are Necessary steps needed for ASP.NET pages ?

THATS IT,
"ali ezz"

Hi there,

Good to hear you like the book so much.

With regards to hosts: I cannot really recommend one as it has been a long time since I worked with them (we're self-hosting most of the stuff we build).

In the past I worked with brinkster.com and I also hear some goodf stuff about www.discountasp.net. Other than those, I don't know any hosts that I can recommend.

Cheers,

Imar
