Default Page 34 - Projects

Hi Imar,

I'm a bit confused about the project options discussed on P34. I have VWD 2008 Express and have the options - File..New Project or File..New Website. The book says the we have only the one option which is Web Site Projects yet on P35 it says to use File.. New Website. Is this what we will use for the rest of the book/project? if so, why not New Project? Very confused but that doesn't take much ;0)

Thanks
Bill

Hi there,

The ability to create Web Application Projects through File | New Project was added to Visual Web Developer Express 2008 by Service Pack 1 which was released after the book was published. As described, the book uses the Web Site Project (File | New Web Site) exclusively.

Hope this helps,

Imar
