I just finished the List Controls exercise and have a question. This is probably more advance. Is there a way to make check boxes automatically when deriving data from a table. So each item that was queried from a database will automatically have a check box next to it. This would be handy if i have 1000 items.

Yes, you can use a CheckBoxField to link a checkbox in the list control to a boolean value in the data source. The chapters about database access (12 and further) show you a lot more about this.
