On page 462, #2, what GridView are you talking about? Only a brand new GridView (a freshly dropped one from the toolbox) is giving me the "Edit Columns" option.
That exercise deals with the GridView you added to the page in a earlier exercise.
Is your database set up correctly with the primary keys and identities etc? Have you tried refreshing the schema with the blue Refresh Schema link on the Smart Tasks panel?
If none of this helps, can you be more specific about the issue you're facing?
