A general question - If I am using ASP.NET 4.5.1 is there any consensus on what is the best framework to use to add mobile functionality , i.e. automatic page resizing, etc if the pages are rendered on tablets / smartphones rather than a PC? Hopefully this won't stir up a hornet's nest of conflicting opinions - I'd be interested to see people's opinions. Excellent book by the way

Hi Chris,

I would look into Bootstrap. It's part of some of the templates in Visual Studio and is widely used and thus well supported.

You'll find that some controls, such as the Menu control, are hard to use together with Bootstrap, so you'll need to look at alternatives there, such as simply creating your own menu structure in a master page or user control
