Doesn't it? As far as I know, the index is built off the names of the exercises. Do you have an example?

Well, I know that for printing/publisher reasons the TIO don't start at the top of the page, but what I meant is to make a reference for people like me that want to go straight forward to the exercise on the page the index says, and skip the theory/explanation pages in some cases, that's why I said like a kind of separate index for the tryouts, or the exact reference (name,page) in the index.

Examples:

Index - Mapping Your Data Model to an Object Model p489
On p489 - Try it out - A Simple LINQ to Entities Example

Index - Shaping Data with Anonymous Types 499
On p501 - Try it out - Working with Queries and Anonymous Types

Oh, I see now. Somehow I thought that the exercises were included in the TOC but I see they are not.
